Purpose:
To oversee the integrity and safety of company’s equipment and systems in the performance of this intended functions. Designs, implements, and manages the inspection strategy, program and practices of the Company providing expertise and assistance to Departments as required
Min. Requirements:
· B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
· 10 years' experience as an engineer in chemical, petrochemical or oil and gas plants, with minimum 3 years’ experience as Head of Inspection.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Performs other similar or related duties as assigned by manager.
· Manages and coordinates company’s inspection activities with the other departments, monitoring inspection reports and estimating service life, recommending repair and technical solutions for maintaining plant equipment to meet agreed standards and procedures and to reduce eventual downtime of plants.
· Formulates and establishes inspection and corrosion management policies and procedures to ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained to prescribed standards
· Establishes and manages the annual inspection planning program and effects notification of necessary shutdowns to departments to ensure all equipment is available for inspection. Ensures all inspections carried out as planned, compiling lists of equipment overdue for inspection and notifying departments.
· Establishes and manages the planning and execution of all inspection jobs for short shutdowns, general shut down and periodic shutdowns, liaising with concerned departments and maintenance department to ensure technical requirements are met.
· Establishes and approves inspection programs for new projects ensuring the experience of both company and shareholder are taken into consideration for both the existing plants and new projects
· Supervises studies for further improvement to reduce eventual failures due to design and or material selection in the plant, providing technical support and advice on actions to be taken. Studies corrosion, erosion and other failure patterns, and develops methods, procedures and programs to establish prevention measures and form a basis for maintenance records.
· Reviews inspection reports to ensure that all items having a history of faults or, on the basis of information available may be susceptible to faults, are surveyed. Draws up an annual predictive inspection program for periodic vibration monitoring and analysis of rotating and reciprocating equipment, supervises implementation and recommends corrective actions.
· When necessary, implements urgent action for rotating equipment such as temporary continuous surveillance and analysis.
· Manages and supervises all inspection requirements and performance by external inspection bodies during shutdowns, or during normal inspection by third parties such as lifting equipment, radiography, to ensure prescribed standards are met
· Manages and supervises the filling system, (electronic or hard copies) to meet company and regulatory requirements. Manages the existing inspection software and ensures updates and modifications are made. Coordinates with the IT department and oversees implementation of any new computerized inspection program to improve performance within the inspection section and with other departments
· Prepares and reviews annual inspection budget, section annual budget and manpower requirements for both in-house and third party inspection.
· Ensures that all company’s inspection instruments are in good working order and re-calibrated as and when required to ensure optimum results. Reviews inspection instruments and upgrades as necessary to meet new technical and safety requirements. Manages and supervises training needs in all areas to keep personnel up dated on company’s and contractor welders are qualified by company’s inspection and monitors validity of their certificates.
· Performs other related duties such as provides all inspection services as and when required to QVC and ensures that in company’s projects, both material selection and inspection requirements are conform to company requirements / experience.

Purpose:
Direct, supervise and coordinate detailed engineering for all modifications and capital expenditure projects under supervision of Head of Engineering and coordinate with Section Head in preparation of annual budget. Min. Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Acts as team leader for assigned projects and supervises the activities of assigned personnel and performs supervisory duties at the level established by the management

Directs and supervises that all modifications are respecting by the company’s Safety and environmental standards, ensures the updating of all engineering documentation (plant layout, general arrangement, single line diagrams, loop drawings, engineering specifications and standards)

Consults with representatives of Process Section, Maintenance, Inspection, Production, Safety and Environment to ensure that designs meet the project objectives

Supervises and ensures that all modifications or capital expenditure are implemented based on sound engineering practices

Carries out design for complex/major new development project work or plant improvements on existing facilities including:
o Reviews of feasibility studies
o Carry out design calculations, analysis and prepare detailed engineering documents for modifications and CAPEX projects
o Review detailed engineering documents with different company organization, for any new major development in-house projects
o Ensures that all designs are in compliance with company’s safety and environment standards and that all engineering documentation is updated
o Carries out site verifications to adapt the new designs to existing facilities; conducts constructability review with construction team to reach optimum design in order to reduce construction time and cost
o Consults with representatives of Process Section, Maintenance, Inspection, Production, Safety and Environment to ensure that designs meet the objectives.
o Reviews studies, engineering documents, etc., prepared by external consultants to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled
o Prepares detailed specification and compilation of documents for tendering.
o Carries out technical evaluation of bids, reviews of vendor submissions to ensure that all technical requirements are fulfilled
o Acts as technical support to the construction team during execution and erection phase; carries out any site modification and field changes as necessary

Carries out design adequacy checks such as computing of pipe work systems, analyzing instrument/electrical loops, electrical network stability, structural stability, etc.

Prepares the overall project execution plan for assigned projects for Mechanical with Head of Engineering and Construction Engineer

Purpose:

Min. Requirements:
· Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years formal training in a technical discipline.
· 5 years’ experience in plant operations, preferably in Ethylene or Refinery Plant.
· Computer skills including Auto-Cad software, good knowledge in control loops and logic.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Maintains updated Logic Diagrams, PID's & PFD's and plant technical documents. Includes all modifications in drawings and ensures required drawings are available in the Control Room
· Prepare as build drawings as and when requires
· Coordinates with CAD office to send and receive drawings for correction / preparation. Insures the distribution of these documents to all concerns and maintains the list.

Purpose:
Provide planning and scheduling support at all stages of the project. Participate in all project electrical activities including control and corrective actions in order to ensure adherence to the approved Project Schedule
Min. Requirements:

· 6 years’ experience in relevant maintenance field, preferably in Oil & Gas field
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provides work direction and supervises the activities of assigned technicians. Instructs subordinates to maintain proper housekeeping of workshop, substation and work site
· Prepares work orders regarding requirements for materials including specifications & spare parts
· Plans major overhaul and shutdowns in coordination with the Operation and Maintenance execution, including forecasting manpower, spare parts, equipment and duration in order to optimize the utilization of downtime of Plant
· Reviews equipment performance & recommends necessary Preventive Maintenance to its performance
· Prepares scope of work for the required Supply and Service requests and reviews with concerned specialist before proceeding for purchasing. Conducts technical discussions with vendors. Carries out technical evaluations of the submitted offers and recommends the purchase of most suitable and efficient products after consulting the specialists. Reviews invoices as per purchase orders
· Prepares and creates master data for the CMMS system, ensuring system records are updated for all equipment regularly
· Liaises with Maintenance Quality & Services Section regarding pending work orders awaiting shutdowns or materials in order to implement or initiate required maintenance as conditions/constraints permit
· Follows-up and coordinates with Supply and Contracts Department for timely procurement of spare parts. Provides support to Warehouse Inventory team and carries out incoming inspection/testing of spares/equipment’s as required
· Provides technical support, resources and information as per requirements for carrying out various maintenance activities. It includes supports to Engineering Services Department for modifications and reliability
· Participates in various meetings with Operation and Maintenance for the effective implementation of Maintenance Programs. Coordinates with Operations Dept for the weekly schedule preparation
· Reviews with Operation counter-part and maintenance specialist the level of maintenance service provided to them by the maintenance program. Identifies deficiencies and initiates corrective action
· Participates in General Shutdown (GSD) as site supervisor and follows-up with technicians and contractors
· Performs other similar or related duties such as preparing monthly activity reports, maintaining technical library with technical information, manuals and literature, prepares memos, faxes and other sundry documents for manufacturers/suppliers information
