Position:

Technical Operations Manager (EE)

Location:

Port Elizabeth

Salary / Benefits:

R 500,000 per annum

Job Purpose:

Main client interface for hard services, be the client manager for national 3^rd party hard services contracts and grow the business.

Requirements:

-       Minimum 10 (ten) years experience of working within a hard services environment at a management level, preferably within a manufacturing environment

-       Must be ideally a Chartered Engineer with demonstrable experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment

-       Must have expert business acumen

-       Must be willing to travel on a regular basis to Gauteng, Botswana and Swaziland and occasionally to the United Kingdom

-       Self-motivated and goal orientated with the ability to prioritise workload

-       Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint)

-       Must have contract management experience, specifically financial acumen

-       Ability to write detailed reports and business case preparation

-       Good team worker, with proven management skills with the ability to communicate at team and customer level

-       Have previous P & L responsibility of up to GBP3 million

-       Utilities specialism (i.e. Steam, Compressed Air, Refrigeration and Electrical preferred)

-       Ability to demonstrate integrity

-       Able to show respect for others

-       Ability to convince, influence or persuade others to gain support for improvements

-       Must be customer focused

-       Must be results orientated

-       Ability to demonstrate professional experience
